Once the Discovery Process is complete, the Kubisys Appliance is ready to create clones via Thin Capture, fulfilling business processes on-demand. The clones of servers are created and attached to a virtual network infrastructure, also created on the fly. Since many such network infrastructures can be hosted on one appliance, our platform seals each such environment from all others. Also, each environment is sealed from production while allowing controlled access to the Internet and legacy applications.

Step 1. Based on the discovery process, the production is captured.
Step 2. Thin Data Layer is provisioned on the appliance.
Step 3. High-speed protocols are used to connect back and read selectively from production.
Step 4. Thin Capture virtual machine is created and attached to the Thin Data Layer.

When present, Kubisys leverages enterprise SANs (EMC, NetApp, Dell-EqualLogic) in which the organization has already invested. Native API integration allows Kubisys to discover, map, snapshot and expose point-in-time copies using storage-specific optimizations where available.
