No Agents Installed

The Kubisys Appliance is agentless, leaves no footprint on production, only reads from servers and SAN storage, and writes never leave the appliance (implements an enterprise write-cache within itself).

Once the appliance is plugged into the network, administrators can start with the discovery process. Using administrator provided credentials, active directory domains, standalone servers, SAN/NAS devices, and virtual platforms are quickly probed and their information stored inside the appliance.

Discovery process uses the collected information to stitch together a complete picture of the production environment, which is then reflected within the cloned environment. The storage layers are intelligently analyzed so that the optimal path can be used to perform the capture.
